For summer, Gepard Garn created a new lightweight boucle yarn, in chunky cotton for 5-8 mm needles in a thick-and-thin texture. CottonWaves, a name that makes you think of the ocean, summer and soft waves, comes in classic colors for summer garments.
Fiber: 10% linen/ 90% cotton
Weight: Worsted-bulky; 50g=60m
Gauge: 10-18 stitches per 10cm on a 7-9mm needle
Care: Wash gently by hand or machine at 30-40 Celsius. Lay flat to dry.We recommend washing CottonWaves either by hand or in the machine – and always using a laundry bag, even during the spin cycle. After washing, lay your garment flat on a towel and shape it gently.If you’re knitting with relatively large needles, meaning your fabric is a bit airy and not tightly knit, it’s even more important to always use a laundry bag.In general, we recommend using a laundry bag for all handknits.
